ARTICLE: Create and Edit Roster Shifts
The Roster Management module provides a simple display with easy functionality to create staff shifts, and edit or delete them quickly.
GO TO: Main Menu >> Staff >> Roster Management
Create Shifts
With Roster Management open and ready, simply click on any free space on the calendar, the Shift Details window will appear for you to manage the shift required.
At the top you will see that the Details page is open by default.
Enter the shift details as required, with label, colour and date range.
If multiple rosters are in use, you can select the specific roster to use.
Assigned Staff
At the top you will see a second tab, click to add the required staff to the shift you are creating now.
Click on 'Add Staff Member'
Click on 'Unassigned Hours' to select the staff member required.
Adjusting the date range here, will effect the shift in the calendar.
Adjust the status if known and add Notes if required.
Click Save when ready.
Edit Shifts
To edit any current item, simply click on the pencil icon shown on that item, the Shift Details window will appear.
Adjust the details as required and be sure to click Save.
