ARTICLE: How to use TAGS

The Tags feature within Reach is designed for schools to create/use their own internal coding system. These Tags can be utilised in three different sections; Pastoral Reports, Contact Profiles, and Duty Reports.
Tags are created where they are used, here are examples from the three available sections;

Pastoral Reports

The Tags that your school uses here may reflect dorms / buildings / events or any number of internal requirements.
As noted, Tags created within Pastoral Reports, will only appear here in future.
To click on the Tags field initially, nothing will appear, the dropdown list will state: "No Results Found"
To create a Tag here, simply type in the text details and click enter, the new Tag will become a blue box.
Once Tags have been entered and the report has been submitted, only then will the Tags appear next time in the List, having auto-saved.

Contact Profiles

The Tags feature is available within every contact profile, and can be found by clicking the Metadata tab.
Tags used here may reflect more student specific or staff specific data.
Creating Tags in one Contact Profile, once saved, will be available across all Contact Profiles in future.

Duty Reports

The Tags feature used in Duty Reports operates in the same way at Pastoral Reports.
Create Tags as required within a report, or select from the current Tags list (if already created), to add to your report, once the report is submitted, the new Tags will be in the list next time.
