ARTICLE: Meal Adjustment Widget for Students

To enable the Meal Adjustment navigate to System Configurations > General and select Yes from the drop down menu for 2241 Enable Meal Adjustment Widget config.

Once enabled, students will have the ability through the web browser and mobile app via the Meal Adjustment widget on their Home tab/screen to made adjustments to specific meals based on date selection, meal selection and whether they will be not present at that meal, require a late meal or a packed meal instead.

Staff can then reference the Meal Dashboard (Dashboards > Meal Dashboard) to view by date any exceptions for each meal and note which student requires late or packed meals.  In addition to enabling the Meal Adjustment Widget for students, enabling meal preferences within Leave Types allows for students to select whether a late or packed meal is required due to their travel plans.  Those selections will also appear for students in the Meal Dashboard for staff to reference.
