ARTICLE: Parent - How to View Existing Leave Items - Web
Leave Request data is split into 'Current' and Historic', these items are displayed in a simple and very effective manner. Depending on your schools protocols, Leave requests could be created by staff, parents and students, and these are viewable from the moment they are created and historically searchable. Data is presented in a table with up/down arrows within each column header to rank the data.
View Current items
This section displays items that are current and up to a month in advance.
View Historic items
This section can be used as a view point for historical data, use the column headers to rank data for easy searching.
Column Overview
Permission State
The State column indicates the current status of the Leave Item with corresponding colours; Pending / Approved / Rejected / On Leave
Approval Actors
Actors are those that play a part in fully approving the Leave Request.
The Actors column displays the role types required to approve that particular leave item, the colour indicates the current status, hover your mouse over an icon to view the details of each actor.
Property Attributes
The Properties column can indicate many different pieces of information by default or by staff creation, again, you can hover to view the details per icon.
Here are a few examples;
- A recurring leave item is setup when creating the leave request
- Notes can be added during the leave creation process
- Transport legs are shown by default based on travel data entered into the leave request
Leave Details
To view the details of a leave request, current or historic, simply click on that specific line item, this will open the details page.
Here you can view all the original details of dates, times and notes, it also includes the Audit Trail.
