ARTICLE: Setting up Blackbaud ID Single Sign On

To set up Blackbaud ID SSO, login to your school's Blackbaud instance and navigate to Security Settings > Authentication Settings > SSO settings. Once there, add a new set of SSO settings. The only required field is the RedirectURL, which should be your REACH portal plus /blackbaud/sso?sso_token={token}. 

The name, resulting slug and additional settings are entirely up to you. This procedure is covered in Blackbaud's documentation here.

Please upload the following information to securedrop.reach.cloud in a .txt file
  1. Your school's Blackbaud URL
  2. The secret that is generated in the SSO setup process in Blackbaud


In addition to the Redirect Url from Blackbaud, please also include the Name and Slug when sending credentials to securedrop.reach.cloud.

Please include an email to support@reach.cloud with a label for the login button if it should be changed from the default "Use School Login".
