How to Set-up your SMS Credits and Notification

Setting up your own SMS system is easy with Touchline Connect, your Reach portal is set up with a SMS messaging account which you need to maintain on a prepaid account.  You pay for what you use and your credits will roll over each month, however your account does need to have funds in it for SMS to work form your Reach Portal.

SMS Messages are charged at 8.9c per message and your account is initially set up with $3.00 in the account.  Username and password access details are provided in your Reach Service Agreement and can be maintained by you moving forward.  You can add, edit or delete administrators to your account as required.

IMPORTANT:   An SMS message is 160 characters long.  This includes spaces.  Messages of 161 characters long will be transmitted and charged as two separate messages.

Step One
Your Login Details will have been provided by Reach Boarding

Step Two
Select Billing on the the top row of the screen, this will take you to your account set up, have your credit card ready to enter the details. Use Auto Top facility and notification at the desired amount.

Step Three
Add your Card Details and top up amounts.

!! IMPORTANT !!

SMS is 160 characters in length. You can send longer messages using a process called concatenation.  We use special characters to join the SMS together and deliver them as one message.

Due to the use of characters to join the messages there are inconsistencies in the length of following SMS. Each SMS is charged separately.

Spaces count for one character and line breaks count for two characters.
