Staff - How to Reset a User's Password

ARTICLE: Staff - Change or Reset Profile Password


Changing a user's password in Reach can only be done by staff who have access to People Management, and this password change can be done via three ways.

GO TO: Main Menu >> People Management >> View Contacts

Quick change via Key Icon 

Search for the required user account to update their password, then simply click on the blue 'Key' icon, this will provide a pop-up to select the preferred update method. Select the method to use and follow the prompts.


Open the User's profile and click on the required option, follow the prompts and remember to save the user profile.



Manual Reset

Often this method is useful when the user is with you, and they can provide the custom password they wish to use. Open their profile and click on the Security Tab, then create / update by using the 'Password' and 'Confirm Password' fields, when complete, save the profile.
