Sharing pastoral notes with students or parents

Sharing pastoral reports with students and/or parents is possible however it is a not a standard permission that we have active for schools when you first access your Reach portal.

The opportunity for problems or mishap when sharing pastoral notes to students and parents is high so it is a risk Reach protects then school from by not having this permission active for any users.

Set the permission for users

You must decide which staff have permission to share pastoral notes to students and/or parents and provide those staff members with the permission. You set this in the PERMISSION profile of each staff member....or in the Base Security role of staff members if you want to make the permission active for all staff.




When activated those users with the permission will see the share with student and/or share with parent check boxes when writing pastoral records in the pastoral notes section or in Duty Reports.
