Then click on the Host dropdown menu and select Create New Host, a new tab page will open in Reach.
Complete the contact details of your new host and click Save New Host.
Reach will then search the database for a match to see if that host already exists to avoid duplicate profiles.
Once selected, your host can be used in the leave request you are creating.
Leave Requests - App
As a parent, open the Reach app on your device and login.
NOTE: Using this method, you will need to create a new Leave Request.
If you do not wish do create leave, please use the previous method via My Account, as detailed in this document.
Tap on the PLUS button in the bottom center of the screen. Tap on New Leave Request.
Tap on the student to add and tap Next.
Continue to follow this process through each screen to add the leave details.
When you arrive on the Select Host screen, tap on Create New Host.
An additional section will appear below.
Complete the details on each line and note that the Next button is still up the top.
Continue through each screen.
At the final screen, check all details.
If all are complete, tap on the Finished button at the bottom.
Reach will then check the system for host profile duplicates.
The new host profile will save if their are no conflicting files.
The leave request will save.
Depending on the leave type, it may auto-approve.
The new host has been added to the system.
