ARTICLE: How to Access and Use Reach on your Mobile Device

The Reach Student Life mobile app is also available for download from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
Visit the respective store listed below to access the Apple or Android version of your Reach Student Life Management mobile app and search
Reach Student Life Management
in the search bar of the store.
When you download the Reach mobile app you will be asked to allow various permissions:
- ALLOW Push Notifications: Many Reach features utilize Push Notification
alerts, such as
leaves and communication messages - you must
ALLOW
Push Notifications.
- ALLOW Location Services: Some schools implement GPS tracking for students.
YOU WILL BE MADE WELL AWARE IF YOUR SCHOOL IS USING THIS TECHNOLOGY! If your school is not using GPS tracking, we
DO NOT use this data.
You may encounter an issue downloading the native Reach Student Life Management mobile app if your phone's older operating system doesn't support our app. In that instance, you can still access the Reach Student Life mobile app, but will need to do so by way of your phone's web browser. See below for instructions on how to access the Reach Student Life mobile app via web browser for Apple and Android phones.
Accessing the Reach Student Life Management mobile app on iOS
- Launch Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
- Navigate to material.reach.cloud
- Tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow pointing out of it) at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down to the list of actions and tap Add to Home Screen (If you don't see the action, scroll to the bottom and tap Edit Actions, then tap Add next to the Add to Home Screen action. After that, you'll be able to select it from the Share Sheet).
- Name the link REACH. This will be the title that appears beneath its icon on your Home screen.
- Tap Add in the top-right corner of the screen.
Accessing the Reach Student Life Management mobile app on Android
- Launch Chrome on your Android device.
- Navigate to material.reach.cloud
- Tap the menu icon (the three vertical dots) in the top right corner of the screen.
- Scroll down to the list of actions and tap Add to Home Screen .
- Name the link Reach. This will be the title that appears beneath its icon on your Home screen.
- Tap Add in the top-right corner of the screen.
To receive push notifications on your mobile device, users need to install and log in to the native app from your device's store. Once you have logged in at least once, you are free to uninstall the native app and replace it with the progressive web app from material.reach.cloud
