REACH: Now
This versatile
communications tool can help you to manage and improve communication with your
community. Reach Now uses
internal messaging within your Reach portal, PUSH messages for integrations
to the Reach mobile app and server based messages for Email. Reach Now is an
extension module that needs to be enabled for your school's portal.
This functionality is provided via three methods that can be used to engage your audience:
Direct
Messages
– This allows
staff to have one-on-one conversations in real time with any contact in your
Reach portal
Chat Rooms
- Rooms are open communication channels that
allow staff users in your community to communicate by viewing and adding
content. Participants can view comments from
other participants and add comments themselves
Noticeboards
- Boards
function as announcement zones, they provide a platform for one-way communications
to your community

Mailbox
Reach provides a useful and convenient messaging capability that can be used to contact any individual user or group of users within your schools Reach Portal, this operates similar to other online Mailboxes by allowing you to create, send and view your messages.

View News
Management
The News feature, viewable on the Metrics View screen (Home Page), allows you to share News / Information / Updates across your entire user population. To Create / Edit / Delete News items, everything can be done via management in a quick and easy format.

In this configuration section, many controls are provided manage or create defaults for many options including; Country Code, Caller ID and default emails for kitchen and medical.
