ARTICLE: How to Run a Report for a Graduated/Former Student

There may be instances where historic records for graduated/former students will need to be accessed for reporting purposes. This can be easily accomplished by temporarily restoring the contact from Deleted Contacts and then choosing the Report you'd like to run from Reports > Instant Reports.  Once the contact is restored, In each report, enter the date range, the student(s) and any other necessary fields that you want to report on.

Example:
  1. Reporting on a previous student go to People Management > Deleted Contacts and recover the student's profile (see ARTICLE: Deleting Contacts and Recovering Deleted Contacts in Reach).

  1. Generate the historic reports that you need for this student from Reports > Instant Reports.
  2. Once finished with the reporting, delete the student again in their profile in People Management (For schools integrating their school database to Reach, the deletion will occur automatically overnight if they are not manually deleted when they are confirmed as not being a current student)
**  If you want to do a report for many past students you can generate them individually like above or we can assist in recovering that information in bulk for you.
