ARTICLE: Parent - How to Edit a Leave Request - Web


The Reach platform allows access to change and edit Leave Requests after they have been submitted, simply log into your portal and select the item to edit.

NOTE: The ability to edit leave is managed by your school. If you encounter any issues, please speak with your school first.


The edit function is available via the Current or Historic Leave Request areas.


In this example, we can see that Matt has a Pending Bike Riding leave request, still in the Current leave area. In the Destination column, 'fgdf' is noted.
Let's do a quick edit an update the notes.
Simply click on the line item to edit, this will open the Leave Details screen for that item.


To edit, click on Destination and update the text, now, Matt is going to Dutton Park. be sure to keep this text short.
Then click on General Notes and repeat, again, Dutton Park has been added, this time with more details.
If other details are required to be updated, proceed with the changes, this is also a perfect opportunity to attach files.
 - This may include confirmation documents for flights, trains, buses, and consent forms.

When all is complete, click on Save, and confirm the save.


Now we can see Dutton Park has updated.

Note: Any edits will trigger a resubmission of the leave request for approval.
